Intellectual Property

Our experience in intellectual property law includes the protection and litigation of patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and unfair competition interests. We welcome opportunities to represent clients in the amicable resolution of intellectual property disputes and, when called for, to enforce or defend their rights in the courts or before the appropriate administrative tribunals. We have experience litigating intellectual property cases in federal courts, before the International Trade Commission, and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and experience arguing before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences.

We have prepared and prosecuted patent applications and applications for registrations of copyrights and trademarks, and we have identified and advised clients on intellectual property issues raised by technology agreements.

The breadth of our experience also gives us insights into the benefits and trade-offs of various intellectual property strategies for adding value to growing businesses and maintaining advantages over competitors.
