Jeff Staudenmayer

Jeff Staudenmayer is an Associate in the Dallas office. Mr. Staudenmayer primarily practices in areas of litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants before state and federal courts. Mr. Staudenmayer regularly handles a wide range of matters, including employment defense matters, personal injury defense claims, managing multiple large dockets of commercial debt, property damage and sale of goods collection claims, contract formation and breach disputes and business litigation.

EXPERIENCE

Mr. Staudenmayer has been involved in litigation in state and federal courts. Listed below is a sampling of cases in which he has been involved:

  • Defense representation of a major airline in a lawsuit involving Title VII retaliation and Section 1981 discrimination claims. After obtaining summary judgment on 24 of 28 positions at issue, successfully negotiated settlement prior to trial. Moody v. American Airlines, Inc.; Cause No. 4:06-CV-248Y; Northern District, Fort Worth Division.
  • Defense representation of national hair salon in scalp-injury/product litigation. Successfully settled case after obtaining favorable pretrial ruling. Khan v. Toni & Guy, LLC,; Cause No. 09-01967; 68th District Court, Dallas County, Texas.
  • Defense representation of a Texas-based energy delivery company in a personal injury lawsuit. Successfully settled case after obtaining several favorable pretrial Motion in Limine rulings. Addington v. Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC, et. al., Cause No. 07-09543; 192nd District Court, Dallas County, Texas.
  • Defense representation of local chapter of national church against allegations of sexual abuse. Successfully settled case for minimal amounts subsequent to filing Motion for Summary Judgment. John Doe v. East Dallas Christian Church, Cause No. 07-03532; 162nd District Court, Dallas County, Texas.
  • Representation of hair care products manufacturer advising on potential litigation pitfalls in regard to multi-million dollar asset purchase, including potential UCC claims, trademark infringement and breach of contract claims.
  • Reached favorable settlement in personal injury case against national tool manufacture arising from defective product claims. Druesedow v. Snap On Tools, et.al.; Cause No. 168,757-C; 89th Judicial District, Wichita County, Texas.
