Eric D. Walker

Eric Walker is an Associate in the Dallas office. His primary area of practice is commercial litigation. Mr. Walker represents a wide range of clients before state and federal trial courts in litigation matters involving general commercial, consumer law, contract disputes, negligence, construction defects, and a large docket of utility property damage cases. Mr. Walker has extensive first and second chair trial experience, and has obtained successful verdicts for his clients throughout Texas.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Walker worked as contract counsel for a Fortune 50 Company in San Antonio, Texas, where he provided advice to refinery and pipeline clients regarding environmental and regulatory issues. While in law school, Mr. Walker was an intern at the Consumer Protection Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office, and was a member of the External Advocacy Program Mock Trial and Negotiations Teams. He was Champion and Best Speaker at the Fall 2003 St. Mary's Mock Trial Competition.

EXPERIENCE

  • Obtained numerous favorable jury verdicts on behalf of a Fortune 50 telecommunications company. Responsible for all stages of litigation.
  • Obtained a $1.4 million jury verdict on behalf of a project owner in a construction litigation matter.
  • Completed Texas Professional Mediator Requirement
